Hajápolási Termékeim az Egyesült Királyságban/ My Hair Care Products used in the UK

Ma a volt hajápolási rutinom termékeiről fogok nektek írni (tudom hogy késve, mivel most már nem lakom az Egyesült Királyságban). A célom ezzel a bejegyzéssel, hogy bemutassam azokat a termékeket, amik a legjobban beváltak nekem tanulmányi időszakom alatt.

Eszembe jutott egy beszélgetés egy közeli barátommal, amely egy kávézóban bonyolódott le, ahol kérdezte tőlem, hogy a tisztálkodási termékekből, melyik fog a legjobban hiányozni, vagy esetleg melyik válna pótolhatatlanná, amikor visszaköltözök Magyarországra? Erre annyit válaszoltam, hogy az egy jó kérdés, és hogy valójában a hajápolási termékek lesznek azok, amikre majd meg kell találni a megfelelő pótló terméket.

Annyit még a hajamról, hogy nagyon sűrű és vastag szálú, és még a tetejébe jó göndör. Mivel hgoy ilyen összetételű a hajam, ezért nagyon fontos a hidratálás, óvni kell a kiszáradástól. Fontos számomra, főleg amikor anyagilag megtehetem, hogy olyan testápolási termékeket használjak, amik természetesek, és állatokon nem teszteltek. Egy bió boltban (Grampian Health Store) vásároltam a sampont és balzsamot, a hajmaszkot pedig a Boots-ban.

Sampon és balzsam: Faith in Nature Jojoba kivonatú

Ez egy szuper termékcsalád, ezekből a gránátalmásat és a hínárosat használtam a múltban, mindegyik nagyon jó. Természtesen lebomló összetételük van, bió, és Vegan. Egy palack 5-6.00 GBP között ingadozik.

Hajmaszk: Naked Rescue argán olajjal és meadowfoam kivonattal. Ez is nagyon jól végezte a dolgát, Kettőért hármat kap akció volt, szerencsém volt, el is hoztam magammal, tartogatom a téli időszakra. Egy tasak elég két alkalomra :). Ára: 2.00 GBP körül.

Today I will write to you about the products I used in my hair care routine in the UK (I know that this post is late since I no longer live there anymore :p). My goal in this post is to introduce the products which worked best for me during my studies.

I remembered a conversation I had with one of my good friends in a café regarding cleansing products. She asked me which product I would miss the most or would be impossible to find back home once I moved back to Hungary. I said to her that that was a good question, and that the products I would have to find suitable replacements for would be the ones I used for my hair and scalp.

Things you need to know about my hair, is that it is thick, and curly. Since I have such unique hair (it's practically a sentient being...) I have to take special care of it. I have to protect my hair from drying out, therefore I have to make sure I use products with sufficient moisturising properties both for my hair and my scalp. Financially speaking, when I could afford it, I tried to buy products which were both good for the environment, and weren't tested on animals. I purchased my shampoo and conditioner at the Grampian Health Store, and the hair mask at Boots.

Shampoo ad Conditioner: Faith in Nature with Jojoba Oil

This is a great product range on the whole, I have also used their pomegranate and seaweed lines. These products are biodegradable, contain organically sourced ingredients and are Vegan. Each bottle is between 5-6.00 GBP.

Hair Mask: Naked Rescue with argan oil and meadowfoam. Once again, another great product that does the job right. There was a 3 for 2 deal on at Boots, so of course I took advantage of it, I brought them all with me :). I am saving them fro the winter months. One sachet is enough for two treatments I found :). Price: around 2.00 GBP

Rival de Loop Klärende Maske (Rossmann)/ Rival de Loop Tisztító Arcmaszk

Ma kint írok a kertben, gondoltam kihasználom a szép időt (amég van), és fegyelmezem a kutyákat :p. A Rossmann-ban vásároltam pár hete ezt a maszkot. Ahogy tudjátok, kedvencem a holt tenger ásványos maszk, ezért gondoltam hogy a Rossmann márkáját is kipróbálom. Be kell hogy valljam, és szégyelem is, de ez talán a legjobb amit addig használtam. Azért szégyelem bevallani, mert rég me határoztam, hogy soha többé nem vásárolok ott, mert eddig nem volt egy jó tapasztalatom egyik üzletben sem itt ahol lakom, a személyzet nem volt valami kedves, enyhén szólva... de most ez kivételes alkalom volt, szerencsére.

Amikor utóljára vettem ilyen összetételű maszkot, mindig a Dm-ben vettem, de tavaly télen amikor utóljára vásároltam és alkalmaztam, valami nem stimmelt. Azt hittem hogy a szavatossági ideje lejárt, de közben kiderült hogy nem is az volt vele a gond, hanem lehetséges hogy a receptjét megváltoztatták, mert túl folyékony volt az állaga, és nem is száradt meg mint régen.

Kellemesen meglepődtem a Rossmann maszkján. Nagyon jó allágú termék, kék színű a krémje, szép egyenletesen felvihető, és szinte pille könnyű, egyszerűen szuper :)! Ráadásul jó árban is vásárolható, ára: 149 HUF (két alkalomra osztott tasak). Ebből mégegyszer biztos venni fogok :). (És persze jól végzi a dolgát is!)

Today I am writing outside in yard, might as well take advantage of the nice weather while it lasts :). I am also disciplining the dogs :p. I bought this mask in Rossmann a couple of weeks ago. As you all know, I love dead sea mineral masks, that's why I thought I might as well try out Rossmann's own brand. I have to admit, though I am ashamed, that this mask is probably the best of its kind I have tried so far. The reason why I am ashamed to admit this is because I vowed never to shop in any Rossmann drugstore again because the customer service was very disappointing, to put it nicely. But this was an exception.

When I last purchased a dead sea mineral mask, it was last winter, my usual from Dm. There was something not quite right with it though, I thought perhaps is was past its best before date, but it turned out that was not the case. I think that they might have changed the recipe, because mask was too runny and it did not dry as well as it should have.

I was pleasantly surprised when I tried out the mask produced by Rossmann. It has an amazing, light texture, with a blue colour and an easy, even application. It's fantastic! Not to mention it is at an affordable price: 149 HUF. I will definitely be re-purchasing this :). (Not to mention it does the job right!)

Depilan Intimate Depilatory Cream for ladies and men/ Depilan Intim Szőrtenlenítő krém nőknek és férfiaknak

Ez a bejegyzés hasznosabb lett volna ha a nyár elején posztolom fel, de a jó idő elmúlásával is hasznos kis termék, természetesen ;). Tavaly nyáron vettem először, és azonnal bele is szerettem :). Ezt a terméket feltétlenül tudom ajánlani azoknak akiknek gondot okoz a intim területek szőrtelenítése. Nem csak a szőr eltávolítása hatékony, hanem az utóápoló krém is megállja a helyét. Hajlamos vagyok a szőrbenövésekre, és kínos amikor nyáron ezek még inkább láthatóvá válnak. Egyszer már kísérleteztem szőrbenövés elleni krémmel, és sajnos nem jártam sok sikerrel, legalábbis eddig. Ez a szőrtelenítő krém nem csak praktikus, mivel intim területeken alkalmazható, és nem okoz irritációt, hanem a szőrbenövés elleni krém is egyszerűen szuper (mellesleg nagyon jó illata van!). Ára: 2500 HUF, Rossman és Dm-ben is található.

I know that this entry would have been more useful if it had been posted at the start of the summer, but even with the good weather on its way out, this is still a useful product ;).The first time I purchased this product was last summer and I fell in love with it instantly :). I can highly recommend this product for those who find it inconvenient to remove hair from those intimate areas. Not only is the performance of the product great, but the after care lotion is just something else! I am very prone to ingrown hairs, and it is even more embarrassing during the summer time when they are revealed to the world... I have already experimented with ingrown hair prevention creams, and was never truly successful, that is until now. This hair removal cream is not only practical, I also did not experience any irritation, and the after care lotion is just amazing :) (it smells really nice too!). Price: 2500 HUF, it is available in Rossman and Dm drugstores.

Ezt a terméket rég rendeltettem. Nagyon sok jót hallotta, a termékről, sajnos én nem tapasztaltam sok javulást használat után. Problémás bőrre, inkább pattanásokra javasolt. Helyileg kell kezelni a krémmel. A pattanásaimat inkább jobban kiszívta, elősegítette a pattanás kifehéredését, mint visszahúzódását. Napközben is próbáltam használni, de csak este tudtam többnyire, mivel nem lehet a bőrbe maradéktalanul bedőrzsölni, hanem a bőr felületén kell hagyni. Ezért alváskor természetesen el szokott kenődni, vagy a párnán végzi sorsát. Nem is olcsó termék, 9.00 Euro körül volt, Amazonon lett rendelve. Megfontoltan vásároljátok ezt a terméket.

I had this product ordered online because I had heard many positive reviews about it, unfortunately I did not experience anything extraordinary when using this product. It was recommend for people who suffered from acne and pimples. You use the paste on the targeted areas of skin which need the treatment. It actually brought my pimples out even more, speeding up the process in which the heads of the pimples turned white instead of preventing inflammation. I tried to use this product during the day, but it was not always possible as it wasn't meant to be massaged into the skin. At night the risk of the paste rubbing off was too big as well, as most of this time the paste smudged or ended up on my pillow. this wasn't a cheap product either, it was 9.00 Euros on Amazon. I would recommend you to do a lot of research before purchasing this product.

Unfortunately a had a few cosmetics which I was unable to take with me as my luggage bags were already over the weight limit :(, and I would have liked to write some product reviews for you (which I will, I promise :p), but I could not take these with me unfortunately. However, I did give them away to friends, so they will be used and loved. Let's get started!

Naked Style Gorgeous Curls Göndörítő hajszérum/ Naked Style Gorgeous Curls Curl Taming Cream

Ezt a terméket azért választottam, mert azt állítják hogy 97 %-ban természetes összetevőket tartalmaz, és szilikonmentes. Hajmosás után nedves hajamba eloszlattam a terméket, fésűvel egyenletesen kifésültem a hajamba. Hagytam hogy a hajam nagyjából levegőn megszáradjon, utána hajszárítóval megszárítottam. Ezt a terméket mindenféleképpen  ajánlom ha göndör és nehezen kezelhető a hajad. Nem zsíros, és megőrzi a haj természtes göndör kinézetét, mellesleg fincsi illata van :)./ I chose this product because it says on the package that is contains 97% natural ingredients, and that it is also silicone  free. After washing my hair, I took the necessary amount of product and applied it to my damp hair, using a brush afterwards to brush it through evenly. I allowed my hair to dry naturally for a bit before drying it completely with a blowdryer. I can definitely recommend this product is you have curly hair which is difficult to manage. It is non-greasy and makes your curls look natural, not to mention is has a yummy smell ;).

Detox Blend Testápoló teafaolaj, zöldtea and jázmin illatokkal/ Detox Blend Body Lotion with tea tree, green tea and jasmine fragrance

Ezt a terméket a TK Maxx-ben vettem 2.99 GBP-ért, ez nagyon olcsó volt, három, négyszeresét fizettem volna érte más üzletben. Bevallom őszintén, hogy finom illata ellenére jó véleményem nincs erről a termékről. Más bőrtípusnak viszont lehet hogy megfelelne, nekem nem volt elég hidratáló. Ezt a testápolót inkább nyári használatra tudnám elképzelni, mivel könnyű, és frissítő./ I purchased this product at TK Maxx for 2.99 GBP, which was very cheap considering I would have pruchased it for three or four times the price at any other store. I will be honest, despite this product's lovely scent, I don't have many positive things to say about it. I think that this lotion would be better for someone with a different skin type though, this one just wasn't hydrating enough for my skin. I can see this lotion as more of a summer lotion because it is very lightweight and refreshing.

Boots Essentials Uborka Szemfesték Eltávolító Gél/ Boots Essentials Cucumber Eye Make-up Remover Gel

Mivel kifogytam az előző sminkeltávolítómból, gondoltam kipróbálok egy olcsóbb szemfesték lemosót. Ez sem volt a legjobb, de úgy ahogy eltávolította a szemfestéket arcmosás után. A jövőben jobb minőségűt keresnék. Ára: 1.50 GBP/ Since I ran out of my previous eye make-up remover, I thought I would try our a cheaper brand and see how that worked. This one wasn1t the best, but it more or less did the job once I had cleansed my face. I would buy something that was of a better quality in the future. Price: 1.50 GBP

Boots Essentails Uborka Arctisztító Gél/ Boots Essentails Cucumber Facial Wash

Mivel nyugtató hatású az uborka a bőrre, gondoltam kipróbálom a drogéria minőségű arclemosót. Ebből vennék újra, ha más választásom nem lenne. Gyengéd a bőrrel szemben, és egész jól eltávolítja a sminket is, nem is száradt ki tőle a bőröm. Ha spórolni szeretnétek, vagy ügyeltek a pénzre, ezt mindenféleképpen tudnám ajánlani. Ára: 1.50 GBP/ Because of the soothing effect of cucumber on the skin, I thought I would give a drugstore cleanser a shot. I would purchase this again if I had no other choice. It is very gentle, removes make-up well and did not dry out my skin. If you are on a budget and would like to save money, I would definitely recommend this product. Price: 1.50 GBP

Superdrug Simply Pure Aqua Hidratáló SPF 15 Nappali Krém/ Superdrug Simply Pure Aqua Hydrating SPF 15 Day Cream

A nyár miatt gondoltam veszek egy nappali krémet  ami egyszerű, könnyű és még véd egy kicsit a naptól. Ebből vennék ha tehetném, mert árban is nagyon jó volt. Ára: 3.00 GBP alatt/ Because of the upcoming summer months I thought I would buy a day cream which was simple, light and had a bit of added sun protection as well. I would buy this product again if I could, I was very satisfied with it. Under 3.00 GBP

 Superdrug De-Stressing Arc Maszk Aloe Verával/ Superdrug De-Stressing Face Mask with Aloe Vera 

Már régóta szerettem volna venni egy tubusos kiszerelésű arcmaszkot mivel kevésbe macerás a felvitel, és ráadásul a tubus segít mindent tisztán tartani a tasakos változatokkal ellentétben. Erről is csak jót tudok mondani, megtette a dolgát, olyan volt amikor megszáradt, mint ha szabályosan kiszívta a szennyeződéseket a pórusaimból. Ha tehetném vennék még ebből a termékből (ahogy észrevettétek, nagy Superdrug rajongó lettem :p). Ára: 3.00 GBP alatt/ For a while now I have been wanting to purchase a face mask in a tube because it makes application easier, not to mention keeps things clean as opposed to the messier sachet versions. I can only say good things about this product, it did what it was supposed to do, and when it had fully dried it was like it had sucked all of the dirst from my pores out completely. If I could I would buy this product again (as you have all probably noticed, I have become a huge Superdrug fan :p). Under 3.00 GBP

The Body Shop Kamillás Arcitsztító Olaj/ The Body Shop Camomile Cleansing Oil

Az arctisztítók királya! Születésnapi pénzemből vettem ezt a szepséget. Nagyon sok jót hallottam az arctisztító olajokról, hogy maradéktalanul eltávolítják a sminket és szennyeződéseket az arcról, viszont nem teszik zsírossá azt. Ez talán a legjobb termék amit addig valaha használtam, teljesen megérte az árát. Száraz bőrre kell alkalmazni, én tusolás előtt használtam, tusba lépve öblítettem le. Azért is vettem, hogy ne kelljen külön szemfesték lemosót is vennem. Szerencsére Magyarországon is található Body Shop. Van egy titkom, amivel most kísérletezem, így még egyenlőre nem veszek, mert nem olcsó termék. Ezt mindenkinek tudnám ajánlani, árát megéri, mert sokáig használható mielőtt kifogyna, én 2 hónapig használtam és még egy negyede volt az üvegben. Ára: 10.00 GBP/ The king of all cleansers! I bought this beauty with some of my birthday money after hearing a lot of positive reviews about cleansing oils. They remove make-up completely as well as impurities, all without making the skin oily. this product is probably one of the best cosmetic products I have ever used, and it is most definitely worth the price. After applying it on dry skin, I would rise it off once I stepped into the shower. One of the reasons why I bought was so that I did not have to purchase an eye make-up remover seperately. Thankfully Body Shop is available here in Hungary. I do have a secret which is still during its trial run, so I won't purchase this product just yet, as it's a bit expensive. I can recommend this product to everyone. It is worth the price as well because it lasts for a long time. I had been using mine for about 2 months and there was still 1/4 of the bottle left. Price: 10.00 GBP

St. Ives Elements Fresh Skin Moisturising Olive Scrub (St Ives Oliva Olaj Kivonatú Hidratáló Bőrradír)

Hosszú szünet után, végre tovább folytathatom termékelemzéseimet. Pár hónapja adtam be a szakdolgozatomat. Négy év után újra átmeneti fázisban van az életem, úgy érzem már ideje volt :).

Akkor vágjunk is bele!

Ezt a terméket legalább 3 hónapja használom (ráadásul még mindig az első tubust!). Mivel eléggé problémás a bőröm, elhatároztam hogy a bőrradír használata segítene a faggyú eltávolításban, és így jobban megelőzhetőek lesznek a pattanások. Az előző bőrradírom, amiről már készült termékelemzés, szintén a St Ives termékcsaládhoz tartozott. Sajnos, úgy vettem észre, hogy az is bár jó volt, kissé gyöngédebb ápolásra volt szüksége a bőrmnek. Mivel meg vagyok ezzel a márkával elégedve, gondoltam kipróbálok egy másik fajtát, amely gyöngéd ápolást biztosíthat bőrömnek.

Ez az bőrradír nagyobb és kevesebb granulátumokat tartalmaz mint a sárgabarackos változatok, és maga a krém sokkal sűrűbb és jobb hidratálást biztosít. Egyre jobban kezdem megismerni a bőrömet, és hogy mit igényel, és rájöttem hogy mivel eléggé érzékeny, ezért a gyögédebb termékeket kell választanom amelyek nem szárítják a bőrömet (nem vonják ki belőle a természetes olajokat). Ezért is nagyon fontos hogy jó hidratáló hatású is legyen a termék. Gondoltam hogy ez az oliva olaj kivonatú termek majd beválik. Szerencsére ez így is volt :).

Ez a termék napi használatra alkalmas. Minden este használom tusolás közben miután eltávolítottam a sminkemet arctisztító géllel. Nagyon kevés termékre van szükség, ezért is tart el ilyen sokáig.

A termék 4.00-.500 GBP (font) között ingadozik drogériától függően. Ezt a Boots-ban vettem, és újra fogom venni amikor kifogyok belőle :). Nem láttam St Ives termékeket Magyarországon, de nem zárom ki, hogy egyáltalán nincs, biztos vagyok benne hogy valahol már vásárolható. Mindig sasolok amikor otthon vagyok látogatóba :p. Úgyhogy ha van lehetőség rá, mindenféleképpen ajánlom ezt a márkát, és ezt a terméket :).

I am finally back after a long break from blogging! What can I say, life got in the way a bit. I finally submitted my dissertation, and have once again entered a transitional period in my personal life :). I think it was just in time too!

Let's get started!

I have been using this product for about 3 months now (and still using the first tube!). As you all already know I have some issues with my skin, so I felt that by introducing a facial scrub into my skincare routine, I could reduce the amount of dead skin cells from accumulating and causing more problems and breakouts. You can find another facial scrub review on my blog, also from the St Ives line. Unfortunately, I had to stop using the apricot scrub as it was a bit too harsh for my skin, however, I really do love this brand of facial scrubs, so I thought I would try another one, one that was more suitable for sensitive skin.

This product is of a thicker consistency, as it is highly moisturising, and contains fewer but slightly larger scrubbing granules. As I am getting to know my skin's needs a bit better, I've come to the conclusion that it is quite sensitive and prone to drying out, and as a result over-compensating its natural oils. Therefore it is imperative for my skin that it gets the hydration that it needs, and that I have to prevent stripping away its natural oils. I felt that an olive oil based product would do the trick, and thankfully, it seems to have done just that :).

This product is gentle enough for daily use, which is a huge plus, because it has made it much easier and convenient for me to incorporate it into my daily skincare routine. Also, you don't need to use a huge amount of the product per session, this is why mine has managed to last so long, as a pea-sized amount is more than enough for my face at least. I like to use this scrub once a day in the evening when I take my shower, after removing and cleansing my face with a gel cleanser.

The price ranges between 4.00-5.00 GBP depending on the drugstore you purchase it from. I bought mine at Boots, and I will definitely re-purchase it when I run out of my current bottle. I haven't seen St Ives products in Hungary, but I can't say for certain that they are completely unavailable because I am sure you can buy them somewhere. I always keep an eye out when I am at home visiting, just in case :). So, if you have a chance to give this product a try, I can highly recommend it :).

Oxy Hínár Kivonatú Arclemosó Gél (Oxy Seaweed Power Fresh Skin Wash)

Remélem mindenkinek békésen teltek az ünnepek :). Pár hónapja vettem egy új arclemosót, mivel nagyon szárította a bőrömet az előző. Azóta vettem még egy tubussal, de sajnos úgy látszik hogy megint tovább kell kísérleteznem... Majd meglátjuk, ettől is eléggé szárad a bőröm, de azért nagyon jól csillapítja az irritációt meg a bőrpirosodást.

Gél állapotú termék amelyben nagyon finom szemcsék vannak (mint egy nagyon finom homok). Nagyobb barna szemcséket is tartalmaz amik arcradírként működnek. Ára 1.99 (GBP). Ha van lehetőségetek rá, próbáljátok ki ti is!

I hope that the holidays were good to you all :). A few months ago I purchased a new face wash, because the previous one was beginning to dry out my skin. Since then I bought another tube of face wash, but it seems my hunt for a new one may continue... We'll see, this one is beginning to dry my skin a bit too, but at least it does a great job calming skin irritation and reducing redness.

This is a gel.based product which consists of very fine granules (like salt or fine sand). It also contains larger brown granules which double as an exfoliant. Price is affordable at 1.99 GBP. If you have a chance to try it, please do! :)
