The Orkney Brewery Raven Ale (középbarna sör)

Van egy jó hírem, végre egy hónap után van internetem a lakásban!  Ez nagyon megkönnyítette a dolgomat, úgyhogy sűrűbben írok mostantól bejegyzéseket :).

A mai bejegyzés témája az alkoholkaland folytatása, a Raven Ale-ről lesz szó, amely egy Orkney Szigetekről származó középbarna sör.  Egy "Golden Ale" úgyhogy pontosabban aranybarna a színe, sajnos olyan lelkesen ittam meg, hogy elfelejtettem képet készíteni róla egy pohárban :p.

Egy könnyen iható sör, sima és frissítő.  Az a véleményem hogy jobb hidegen, de ne tegyük a hűtőbe túl sokáig, legyen annál egy kissé melegebb, de ne is legyen szobahőmérsékletű, hanem valahol a kettő között.  Aranybarna a színe és krémes a habja, és nem túl szénsavas, egy igen élvezhető sör :).  Ez a lányoknak is nagyon ízleni fog!

Ezt is a Tesco-ban vettem, de nem a saját márkája, így remélem a többi üzletben is található :).

Nagyon szép a Kelta holló minta az üveg kupakján, annyira megetszett hogy meg is tartottam :).

Hi Everyone!

I have some great news, I finally have internet in my flat now, this has made my life so much easier, so I will be able to post more often for you guys :).

Today's topic will be a continuation of the alcohol adventure.  I will be introducing the Orkney Brewery's Raven Ale, which as you have probably guessed is a product of the Orkney Islands.   It is a "Golden Ale" and I was so eager to drink it that I forgot to take a picture of it in a glass for you all to have a look at its colour :p.

It is a very smooth and easy to drink ale, and in my opinion should be enjoyed at a temperature that is between chilled and room temperature.  It is golden brown in colour, and is not too fizzy and creates a nice creamy foam, overall a very enjoyable ale :).  The girls will love it too!

I bought this at Tesco as well, but it is not its own brand, so I hope that it is available at the other supermarkets as well :).

Tesco Bió Körte Almabor

Hát igen, van ilyen :p azaz bió körte almabor, és isteni finom.  Már biztos kitaláltátok, hogy ezt is a költözés utáni bevásárlásban vettem.  Bevallom, hogy első látásra, nem is gondoltam, hogy a Tesco-nak a terméke, nagyon szép az üvege.  Ez a termék bió körtéből készült, ezen kívül nagyon finom, ízén érződik a körte és könnyen iható, ahogy szeretem J, nagyon frissítő!  Ez a termék 500 ml-es üvegekben kapható, és alkohol tartalma 7.2% és mint a többi almabor, ajánlott hogy egy nagy pohárban sok jéggel elvezzük J.

Ha alkoholt iszom, mindig igyekszem jó minőségűt, lehetőleg házit inni, és mindig azt szoktam mondani, hogy az alkohol gyógyszer :p hehehe. 

Nem vagyok nagy sör rajongó, sőt a legtöbb sör fanatikus csalódna bennem, ha azt mondanám, hogy inkább a könnyű kevésbé keserű söröket kedvelem, de ez sajnos így van.  A kedvenc söreim közül tartozik a Guiness, a Moosehead, és a Soproni.  Az almaborokat jobban szeretem, mint a gabonás söröket, imádom a Svéd Kopparberg almaborait, és most már hobbim lesz a többi sörkülönlegesség kutatása, mivel itt az Egyesült Királyságban sok sörkülönlegesség található a nagyobb üzletek polcain J.

Az alkoholkaland még csak ezzel a bejegyzéssel kezdődik J, még lesz ennek folytatása a jövőben is…

U.I. és lányok, ha kérdezik hogy miért iszunk sört, tudja mindenki, hogy a gyönyörű haj érdekében tesszük ;)

Tesco Organic Pear Cider

Yes, it does exist :p, I mean organic pear cider, and it’s delicious.  You’ve probably already guessed when I bought this, yes yes, during our post-move shopping.  I’ll have to admit that I had no idea this was a Tesco brand product at first glance, the bottle looked so pretty.  This cider is made from organic pears, and is very yummy, you can taste the flavour of the pears and it is very easy to drink, just the way I like it J refreshing!  This product is sold in 500 ml bottles, alcohol content is 7.2%, and like all other ciders, it’s recommand you drink it in a huge glass packed with lots of ice J.

Now I’d like to turn some attention to beers/ciders in general J.  Whenever I drink alcohol I always try my best to drink good quality alcohol, preferably home-made.  I always say that alcohol is medicine :p hehehehe.

I’ll admit that I am actually not a huge fan of beer, and most beer conoisseurs would be extremely disappointed in me if I were to say that I preferred lighter and less bitter beers, but unfortunately that’s just the way it is.  My favourite beers are Guiness, Moosehead and Soproni.  I prefer cider over beer, and I absolutely adore Kopparberg pear/apple ciders.  I’ve now made it my hobby to seek out and try as many of the beer/cider delicacies I can find here in the UK, because there are plenty to choose from off the shelves of the larger supermarkets J.

The alcohol adventure has only just begun with this entry J, and I guarantee it will be continued in the future…

P.S. and girls, if they ever ask you why we drink beer, let everyone know that we do it for the sake of gorgeous hair ;)

Witch Naturally Clear Blemish Stick

Ezt a terméket a költözés utáni vásárlás alatt találtam és nagyon megtetszett mivel nagyon különlegesnek találtam, jó árban volt és természetes hatóanyagokat tartalmaz.  Már 3 hete használom és be kell hogy valljam, szerintem egy kissé mellényúltam…  Semleges a véleményem erről a termékről, használ, de nem is használ, tehát csíp, amely arra utal hogy fertőtlenít, de nem csökkenti a pattanásokat, jobban járok a szokásos arctisztítási rutinommal, a teafa olaj az én hősöm J!

Ennek a terméknek a különleges összetevője a „boszorkány mogyoró” amely fertőtlenítő hatású, gyulladás gátló.  Maga a termék egy hobbi ragasztóra emlékeztet kinézetre és állagra :p hehehehe.  Illata pedig szúrós, alkoholos.  Egy stift 10g J úgyhogy pici és praktikus, bárhová el lehet vinni.  A stiftet alulról kell felnyomni, áttetsző és kék a színe és javasolt, hogy naponta többször is alkalmazzuk (én súlyosabb esetekben naponta háromszor, négyszer is használom a problémás területeken de ez még sem hozta meg a kívánt eredményt).

Tehát nekem nem vált be, de lehet hogy más bőrtípuson jobban működik.  Tesco-ban vettem, úgyhogy nagy valószínűséggel Európa szerte is található a többi áruházban.

I purchased this product during our our post-move shopping because I found it unique, reasonably priced and appealing because it contains natural materials.  I have been using this blemish stick for about 3 weeks now and to be honest this product was a hit and miss...  My opinion on the product is very neutral, it works and yet it doesn’t, what I mean is that it stings when I apply it, meaning that it does disinfect, but it doesn’t reduce pimples the way I thought it would, I think I am still better off with my usual cleansing routine, tea tree oil is my hero J! 

The special ingredient in the product is witch hazel, which has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties.  This product reminds me of a gluestick, looks-wise :p hehehehe.  It’s scent is sharp and alcoholic.  One blemish stick is 10g J therefore small and practical, you can take it with you anywhere.  You have to push the stick it up through the bottom of the tube (like chapstick), and it is recommended that one use the blemish stick more than once a day to get the desired results (in more severe (and desperate :p) cases I’d use mine 3-4 times in a day on the problem areas, but even so I still did not get the desired results).

So in sum this product didn’t work too well on my skin, but it might work better on other skin types.  I purchased it at Tesco, so hopefully it is available at the other supermarkets around Europe.
